Default Fuel issues?

About 2 weeks ago my truck started stalling and sputtering. I gave it some seafoam and made it home. It held me through a couple of days till I got the fuel filter changed. The mechanic said i had water in my fuel .. So I added some heet and it ran better.. Now it wants to act up again. It cuts off, won't hold an idle, will cut off as some as I put it in gear. The only way to keep from cutting off is a steady revving of gas.. Do I still have water in it? I just changed the filter. Is it a sensor problem? Please help.. 94 5.0

If you didn't drop the tank and physically clean it out, then yes you still have water in it.

I know about condensation but how could that much have accumulated to cause such harm? Is it the rapid weather changes causing it? I'm at a loss of understanding the how and why of it.
