Front map lights not working

Default Front map lights not working

hey guys on my 08 king ranch the two front map lights dont work by pressing the button or opening the doors. i figure it might be a fuse but i cant figure out what fuse it is. or it could be just the bulbs are blown? anyone have any experience with this problem. thanks guys

You should first consult your owner's manual for the fuses that protect those lights (download a copy if you don't have one; do a Google search). Don't assume they are good just by visually inspecting them; I did that when troubleshooting my brake light issues and though a fuse looked intact even when viewing it with a bright light behind it (sun), it was actually blown that which I only discovered by using an actual fuse tester.

If the fuses are truly good, then pop the lens cover and inspect/test the bulbs.

We can't do any more to help you out unless you do the basics first.

ight thanks man, ive looked at the owners manual online and for the life of me cant find which fuse it is. i swear ive rear that fuse list a hundred times and cant find where it says anything about the map lights. now it might be abbreviated and i just dont know what the acronym is. can someone look at their manual and help me find the fuse. thanks guys yall are great
