Default Front license plates

I HATE the position of the front license plate on the ecoboost but I understand it's purpose of the placement so that the turbo can suck more air into it. Has anyone put a second front plate on the other side? I want to get two skull plates to make it even instead of just one to the side which would just look stupid. I really don't want to drill into the other side though. What are everyone's thoughts on this? Can you take the other side off and put on an aftermarket plate holder so there's one on each side?

I think it's actually so that more air can flow over the intercooler.

Why not just delete the front plate altogether? They sell replacement bumperette things so that you have a normal one.

I like the idea of having two skull and crossbones plates better.

I don't think they make a passenger side mount plate, in another thread a guy just drilled into the front bumper loaf.

That wouldn't go over well in Alaska, California, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, or US Virgin Islands.

True but I've got 5 years in 4 vehicles without running a front. In my experience, it's just like an illegal tint. They won't pull you over just for the missing plate, but once they nail you for a moving violation they're gonna throw that in there.

Correct - I would never run one or buy something that had a front plate drilled. I have lived in states with front plate laws and I disregard that. I am moving to one that has a front plate law... Still won't do it.

See I'm playing it the other way, I'd rather not give them any reason to pull me over... Too many idiots (my friends) I drive around, cant guarantee my truck is clean if you know what I mean lol

Plus I dont know many people who will risk it, but the few I do know get pulled over.

I know in Oregon you'll get pulled over for not having one. They like to get you for everything; lack of blinker use, front plate, expired tags, tint, illegal lights, no mudflaps or fender flares etc.
