I am replacing rear-end break hose?
HI PEOPLE,NEW HERE....I have a 1996 f-150 reg cab 2wd long box 4.9 300 auto.I am putting in another rear-end,The flex hose on the rear-end,How do i remove this without ruining it!? I want to reuse it.

Well, you're in Canada so I don't think you will be able to remove it without breaking something. The hose itself should come off in one piece but it's highly likely you will break some of the steel lines that connect to it. The line ends sieze up and twist the line instead of spinning on the line.

f-150 rear flex hose removal
Right on!Thanks for your help.I will update when complete work is finished.This is my first time replacing a rear-end or any break work on my 1996 F-150,4X2.

change'n the rear-end yoak
(GOT THE FLEX HOSE OFF WITHOUT RUINING IT)I am changing the whole rear-end on my 1996 f-150.The end of the New rear end ,where the drive shaft bolts up
(yoak?) is not the same,bolts are bigger in the old rear-end.CAN i change the ends of the rear-ends?If so How?:unsure:
