Default Front end shims

Hey Guys,

New to the forum....
I was told by align tech I need shims for the front end of my 04 150 Can anyone help with some input on the install?

They use it to bring your truck back into alignment. Let them do while the truck is on the alignment machine. I have never put shims on a newer F150. Take it to another shop to see if they recommened the same thing.

I'm assuming he's telling you this as an excuse why the truck won't drive straight.

No shims, there's an alignment cam kit that must be installed to even do the caster and camber on our trucks. Otherwise all he has done is your toe. Take it back and get your money back.

If you can scan the specs on here I can tell if you need a camber kit.
