Front end bounce
My son has a 2004 F-15o 4.6 engine with oversize wheels and Rims. He has had break problems for the past few months, The front end bounce occures only when he applies the breaks. Today we replaced the front Rotors and breaks. I did not drive the vehicle however he claims that the bounce has improved some what however it is still there. Could he have bad front shocks or bad bushings ?? We know he needed the brakes and Rotors but dont want to play a guessing game and start replacing parts that we dont have to.
A concerned father.

Welcome to the board.
I don't think replacing brakes will improve ride quality regarding bouncing. You can check the treadwear on the tires to see if it is wearing evenly, or not. Bad shocks can result in "cupping" in the tread.
See quote: "Cupping is when the tread is wearing unevenly around the circumference of the tire. The tread will be worn more in some places than in others as you go around the tire. Cupping can be caused when a tire is out of balance or if a shock absorber is worn out."
Good luck!
