Default Front Bumper "breadbox" covers removal??

Probably here maybe I searched it wrong. but anyone ever remove the front bumper covers to make room for like fog lights or something or just remove them in general. I assume nothing behind them. Just looking for some pics or any thing on it.

Im thinkng I want to remove mine to make room for additional fog lights or something but dont wanna ruin the front "look" of the truck either.

Thank you gentlemen

Don't know what year you have, but the '15-'17, the lower grille and boxes are all one piece. The '18 up, they are 3 separate pieces. Just get a plastic trim removal tool and pop them off. Start at one end, get it loose, and pull them off. Some have done that mod, but there isn't much room behind them. They're held on by clips.

I just edited as I remembered I forgot the year.... maybe I will just do what Others have done and relocate lp to the side and use that lower space for a light bar or 2 fog lights to accomplish my goal...plently have done it and no need to reinvent the wheel as they say.

I see the newer generations have a radar thing behind the driver side. and with all the mounting taps on the bumper I think im better going the route others have taken.
