Well has everyone in the path of this Storm got your trucks all ready to go? Tires - fuel ...bottled water, food that doesn't require cooking, electronics charged, hope everyone stays safe . but post some pics if you can during the event

I am right at ground zero. South/central jersey. This sucks. Nervous as hell. Put all lawn furniture, chairs, plants, etc away but I am surrounded by trees, dont have a garage, and live in a mobile home. I'm screwed.

Just be thankful you don't live in Tornado alley in N. Texas & Oklahoma as it seems tornado's hate mobile homes & go out of there way to track them down and turn them into little bits & pieces

But try and stay safe & if nothing else go to friends house- park your truck under some concrete somewhere

Where you at?\I'm in EHT (next to Atlantic City) as of now eye is supposed to pass directly over us. But that can change.
Spent the past 2 days and 198 sheets of plywood boarding up Margate and Longport.
Sustained winds 70-80 mph for 32-48 hours straight
I think the bigger problem will be 2-4foot of water covering the island
10-12" of rain
8-10' storm Surge plus a full moon
I've been in a few hurricanes including CAT 3 (had fun).
But if this one does what they say ,it looks a little rough.

I live by the coast in Delaware, about 30 minutes from the beach, all the beach areas have been evacuated, got the generator ready, 20 gallons of gas, and filled up the f150...ocean is already rising and coming over the roads...alot of them are closed, and the main route out is packed, they started waiving the toll to drive down it, so people could get out faster..
