Got notification of a new version available for Forscan. Went to their website and downloaded. Upon trying to install my computer stopped the process stating that the file contained a virus. Anyone else have the problem?

 

Uh Oh.... Thanks for the heads up. Are you 100% sure it was the correct site? With all that's going on in Ukraine, I suppose anything is possible.

 

Same place I have always gone for updates. Forscan.org/download
My computer has an antivirus software through Spectrum. Specifically called F-Secure. Sometimes a pita cause its super careful.

 

False positives have been an issue for years. See Forscan forum's stickied thread.
