They should have put a Road Runner in the line up. I mean if memory serves my Saturday morning cartoon ritual as a child. It's the only thing I know that beats a Coyote LOL!

Love how they kept harping at lightest truck, it was also the one with highway gears at 3.15, and was down 65hp and 60lbs of torque. Let them run a 4x4 with 3.73s and it would likely still win as the launch would be stronger and it would build rpm faster to where the 5.0 shines.

Am I the only one that absolutely despises the Nissan Titan?
Not just the current year/model, but all of them. Same for the Toyota Tundra. Can’t stand anything about them.
But the Tacoma... not so much. I actually like those.... sorta, but not enough to buy one. Really disappointed with the direction of the Japanese trucks. Back in the late-80’s/early 90’s, they were so promising. What happened?

My 08 Tundra was an absolute Tank. Handled and steered better than my 2015 F-150 too. About equal speed.

Dont know if they cheapened them up since 2008. They haven’t put any investment in them or the Landcruiser (very similar chassis and drivetrain).

The Tacoma is now a mid size. I have an 07 Tacoma that is the best truck I've ever owned. Although I'm hearing the 2015 and newer versions are lacking. But for some people they are either too big, or too small. That is where I found myself. While a great truck they don't offer the size needed nor great fuel mileage. But for a lot of people they are the perfect size. I found myself needing a bigger truck and seriously considered the Tundra. But found very few options out there on the used market that met my criteria 2.5 years ago when shopping. Found lots of F-150's and ended up with one with the 5.0 in it. Great engine and I don't regret my decision. The Tacoma was worth more for me to keep it as a 3rd vehicle than trade it though. I'll probably give it to my grand daughter when she is 16. She is only 10 now.

Just wanted to point out that assuming you were referring to the Ford/GM comparison in the quote above, you appear to have given the GM a 40HP advantage over the Ford when in reality its only a 25HP advantage.

Ford = 395HP
GM = 420HP

No your not the only one. I throw-up in my mouth every time I see one of the Nissan's on the road and cant help but wonder what they (the owner or creator) was thinking.

Its got the kind of face/shape only a Mother could love

Amen to that. I'm pretty sure given the choice I'd rather own a Honda Ridgeline.
