A recall is only issued by Ford Motor Company for a safety reason. Bad brakes, faulty airbags ect. A blower motor is not a safety issue and would not cause a recall notice. It might be worth a technician service bulletin (TBS) but not a recall.

that’s part of the problem.
I got the original recall and had it in and fixed. Now they’re telling me it hasn’t been done. I’ll get it straightened out.

perhaps that is why they send you that vague/ambiguous letter that didn’t properly identify a vehicle, nor actual recall details.

sounds like a place (dealer) to avoid.

I got a recall for airbags on my Ranger. Went in and had them replaced. About a year later got another recall on airbags. It seems the company who made the replacements hadn't built them properly and had to replace the replacements. Now my new to me 2013 needs airbag work and they're waiting on parts. I wouldn't get too suspicious. Ford ain't gonna waste their time sending out junk mail recall notices.
