Default Ford Rebates...

Just purchased a new 2024 F150 XLT. Love the truck, it's my 4th Ford F150 over the past years.
Ford was offering rebates for different groups for Military, Firefighters, ect.....
I am a retired Professional Firefighter with 35 years of service. When I applied for the rebate, it said I did not qualify for the rebate because I was not an active firefighter.
It's a shame that Ford honors a Retired Veteran their rebate but does not allow a Veteran Firefighter their rebate for their service.
Just my two cents on Fords rebate program for Firefighters.

Im sure your community thanks you for your service but the program is pretty clear on the requirements. Its $500 or .01%. You could have gotten a better deal buying out of state.

I am 65 years old and recently bought a 2025 F-150. I have been a lifelong learner, taking one or two classes every year at my local community college. As a student, I get a student email that ends in ".edu".

Well, that Sales Manager bought **** his pants when I told him I pre-qualified for the $750 rebate! and I plan on doing it in 4 years when I get a new truck.

Thanks for your service FF, and sign up as a student for next time. The classes offered are fun and many for free. Oh, and on the tax side, you might get the Lifelong Education Credit on your taxes.

BlkNBlu.... No Sir not crying. Also I was a member of this forum in the past. I've had a Ford Explorer for the last 7 years because I needed the seating for grandkids.
I've always used this forum for information for anything I wanted or needed for my trucks in the past. Just rejoined after purchasing my new truck 2 weeks ago. As far as my post, I've received the rebate on 3 other trucks in the as a Retired Firefighter, been retired for 15 years. This time the dealer came back and stated that I didn't qualify for the rebate. My post was my statement was about Ford's change or new policy, that's all. My dealer even stated I should post about the change.
So No, did not create a account to cry about not getting a discount, but thanks for your input.

The parameters around rebate programs change. When I bought my '16 all honorably discharged vets qualified and now it's active, retired and I think separated within a certain timeframe.
