Raptor SuperDuty or SuperDuty HOSS that was in diesel power a couple years ago.

Offer the Expedition in a 3/4 ton with a 6.2

I have many more ideas but those are my favorites.
This about sums it up for me.

I really hope Ford ''Ecoboosts'' a V8 and puts in the F-150...The 5.0L is the perfect engine to do so with.

A Bronco based off the F-150 (Body on frame) none of that ***** crossover jacked up minivan bull****. Make the 5.0L and Ecoboost options and that would be awesome!

I like the idea of a Boss 302 F-150, a Regular Cab Shortbed with the 412hp uptuned Mustang 5.0L and a 4.10 rear LS rear end.

I would also like to see a Superduty that compete's directly with the Dodge Powerwagon. A factory made badass HD truck made for heavy offroading.

Either

a) 3.5l Ecoboost Raptor

or better yet

b) Cummins V6 or V8, or ford 4.5l Diesel in the Raptor

Diesels have proven longevity ( I tend to keep vehicles for awhile) and that bottom end torque is great for loafing along at the beach (lots of nice 'scenery') or at the farms and ranches I work around (15-25 mph speed limits!)

A f150 HD turbo diesel would be nice in 4 or 6 cylinder with 4:10 or 4:30 gears stock... I'd surely trade the KR for one..

sure everybody says they want a diesel, but then when they come out and its a $10,000 option, how many will decide that gassers aren't so bad?

Well, the TDI option on VWs is generally about 3-4K, not 10K and I'd pay that in a heartbeat. Especially over an Ecoboost gas version that doesn't freakin' work!

That particular diesel tech is just plain impressive. A 4 banger for the Ranger 175HP/325lb.ft. 20 city 28 h/w, 6 banger for the F150 240HP/420lb.ft. 18 city 25 h/w, and an 8 banger for the F250 325HP/525lb.ft. 16 city 22 h/w.

Or thereabouts . . .

Unfortunately, the Ranger died though RIP

I bet the ranger will be back. I have a feeling that Ford just took it away to make people realize how cool it was. You know the saying, you don't know what you got till it's gone!

As far as diesel F150s go, I read somewhere (Maybe even in the articles I posted at the bottom of page 2) that the exhaust system for a diesel 150 would cost something crazy like 10 grand because of filters and what not

Wow -- where to start..

  • Lobby Congress to relax Diesel regulations so that European Diesel designs can be sold in the U.S. (A 50mpg fiesta would be nice.)
  • Design a 2-seat sports car to compete with the Corvette and win. Do NOT call it a Thunderbird!
  • Bring back the 5.0L LX! The current Mustangs are big and heavy. They have 400+ HP because they NEED that much to push that overweight car down the road. Give us a stripper model (manual windows, radio delete, A/C delete option, rear seat delete option, little/no sound deadening, and clever use of thin glass, fibnerglass, and carbon fiber to build a lightweight, performance-oriented Mustang at a bargain proce. Make it available with the 5.0L Coyote or the V6 with a manual gearbox only.
  • Get back into the police/fleet business. Not too long ago Ford abandoned that entire market when the discontinued the Crown Vic. The Tarus is no replacement.
  • Enough with the retro styling. That fad has run its course. Hire some SKILLED designers for your next generation of cars and don't corporatize the designs like you currently are doing. You can design a car that looks like a Ford without making it look like a Tarus/Fusion/Focus/etc...
  • Lastly, abandon the cheezy naming conventions you're (mostly) using. Cars do NOT have to start with an "F" you know. the public doesn't care that all your SUV's start with an "E". It's lame and childish.
  • Oh -- and more ads with Mike Rowe.
