Flowmaster drone noise
I have the flo master 40 with resonator delete and drone is not a problem for me. The chicks dig the rumble. Lol. All BS aside, I do have some drone in the cab but it's not a serious issue for me like some. I knew what I was getting before I did it and it's acceptable.
I have Flowmaster Delta 50 on my 2012 XLT 5.0, selecshift auto. The exhaust has been installed for 30 mo and is fully broken in. I don't know if I am deaf or insensitive, but I have no drone in my exhaust.
My previous F150 XLT had Magnaflow and it was comparable to OEM.
My F350 w 7.3L diesel with Banks Power Pack made people look and listen see where it was coming from. And it was the definition of 'drone' .... and power.

Engine firing order, pipe length, diameter and routing and exit point of tailpipe all play a role in how the exhaust sounds. The same muffler might sound slightly different on a RCSB than it does on a SCrew.
The 40 series was/is probably one of their most popular products. But also notorious for drone.
