Im looking to install a flowmaster and want the exterior sound of a 40, but with minimal cab drone like a 50 SUV. Does the 50 SUV still give an aggressive sound outside?? Thanx

 

do what i did and take out your cats put in glass packs instead then finish up with a flowmaster 40. gives a nice rumble. that is unless you have emissions laws where you live then it wont pass inspection. but seriously the 40 isnt much interior noise in a pickup

 

I have the Flowmaster 40 series on mine, and I don't think it has an annoying cab drone at all. My tires are louder inside of the cab than the exhaust

 

I have the 50 series and am happy with them. If I was to do it again though I would probably get a magnaflow, borla, or roush off road exhaust. Something thats a little throatier at idle, but not much louder.

 

i agree, noise off of a 40 series isnt bad in my 150. the inside of the bronco is a different story.

Eh... my buddy's F150 sounds like shiz inside now that he put the flowmaster 40s on. I do not like them at all. Much prefer my cherry bombs.

 

Delta series 50...nice sound outside when u get on it and at cruise bearly hear it in the cab...
