Hey all, I'm new to the forum and just bought my f150 last week. 2008 5.4 with 113K miles from original owner. Anyway, owner told me it has always ticked since about 60K miles.. Dealer told him not to worry about it. Well I'm already tired of the ticking and really want to do the lockout job with the kit by livernoise. Just need to know if it'll be worth $1,000 to do it and if I don't, what can possibly go wrong? Also, my mech. buddy told me his cost for a jasper engine is $3,100 in case something ever happens. Just debating on what to do. Any opinions will be appreciated!
