the light bar is screwed to the sticky pad mounts, so you mount the whole thing.

Thumbs up

I have the short box also.
Here is what I did.

Took off the tail gate. Be careful as it is heavy. I dropped mine on the garage foor.

Measure for centre on the truck
Measure for centre of the light bar.
Mount it tight to the metal ridge that is at the bottom of where you mount the bar. Try if first before taking off the tape. It must be down a little on the right side or that stop pin will rip it off. it just misses if you get it on right.

Mark where you want it to go then take off the paper on the tape and stick it on.

Take out the screws that hold the little mounting plates and take off the Bar.

Buy some small stainless self tapping screws and drill an appropriate size hole to take the screw that will hold the mounting plate and light bar on.

Run the screws in to set a thread then remove. Do this for all I think five mounting plates.

Hold the bar up in place and install the screws. Now you have a nice neet job that will last for ever and will never show rust and the pin won't rip it off

I wired mine into my tailer hitch and it works nice no muss no fuss.

One hour job

Good luck

Bill
