Hey guys, Im new here.Im not an "offical" F150 owner, but if everything goes as planned. I will be by saturday!! Im going to go look at a 1994 F150 Single cab long bed 4x4 with the 351W. It has 108k on it, for 3000.00.. thats a good deal...isnt it? ( no rust, new tires, AC/Heat work, etc) Now, my questions are... what are some common problems I should look out for? Like I know rust, if the engine knocks, etc. But anything that sticks out?What are some performance mods I can do? I know I can do a cold air intake, true duals, and throttle body spacer. But anything else?And are the 351's good motors? Ive never really had any experiance with fords.. I was driving a 1999 Toyota Tacoma with a V6 so im sure Im gonna be happy with the ford. lol.thanks yall!

 

id say 3000 is a good deal for one with that kinda miles. 351s are good motors but then again it all depends on how well it was taken care of. sounds like a nice truck. put up some pics when you get it

 

Talk them down to at least 2500. Look up the sixliter ignition mod as far as performance, don't waste your money on a throttle body spacer or the CAI (if anything look for a low dollar intake tube mod (been a while since I had the Bronco, so I can't remember any homemade CAI stuff)
