Default Few questions..

I have a 2009 F150 4X4 Lariat. It has 88,000 miles on it. I have been through two sets of tires and already a year on the set currently on the truck. I replaced the ball joints already because they were slap worn out. Now, 8 months later, the ball joints are already wearing out, and quickly. When I hit a bump something in the front end pops, if I stand on the running boards and just shake the truck, something makes a popping sound. I really don't want to keep spending another 500 dollars on new ball joints every year and I don't want to keep buying a 1300 dollar set of tires for them to wear out after 20,000 miles. Next, does/has anyone had any problem with the roof(near the third brake light/cargo light) leaking? Mine will leak when we get a heavy rain and sour up the inside of my truck. Note: I do have a leveling kit on the truck. What would you do about both of these problems?

If you traced a leak to the 3rd brake light, just remove it, apply a bead of silicone sealer & reinstall it. As far as your ball joints & tires wearing out way to soon. Sounds like your front end is highly stressed. Set your sights on that leveling kit. Make sure it was installed properly, & all nuts & bolts are tightened up. (loose bolts can be the source of all kinds of noises) After the level kit passes inspection, be sure your alignment is good.
I'm thinking that your alignment is way off from what you described.
leveling kit = realignment.

Ball joints should last 100,000 miles even with rough driving unless they were aftermarket imported ones. When you installed the new ball joints a 4 wheel alignment should have been done. It is not out of the realm of possibility that the truck is actually crab walking so your tires are scrubbing all the time.
The other possibility is the front axle is dragging because the Limited Slip is not functioning. You might want to service the front diff. and add "Ford LDS Modifier" to the gear oil.

I could be wrong but aren't the front diffs open or e-lockers? I don't think they put LS in the front. the crab walking thing makes sense... if the bushings on the upper or lower control arms are shot, there would be a lot more stress on those ball joints... or if your running 37's+
