Default F150Forum.com Down Time

Sorry guys,

It's amazing how the smallest things can cause the biggest problems. Somehow the wrong file got uploaded to the server and it cause this site to crash.
I have a service that pings the server every 5 mins to make sure it's up and then text messages me if it's down but in this case the server was still up... it was just a file that was causing the crash so I wasn't notified.

I'm really sorry for the downtime and I'll try my hardest to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Thanks,
Nathan

Thanks for the notification and explanation! It's greatly appreciated.

Been on other sites that won't provide a clue and no apologizes (don't always need an apology, but heads up is nice). One in particular (I won't mention names) I was an active member for nearly 4-6yrs, they had a good following and changed owners. Well, the site went down for roughly 2 months and when it finally came back online, it was crap, nothing but pop-up adds all over and users started jumping ship left and right.

So thank you!

....that's OK, Nathan; only one perfect man has ever lived, and He's not you. This site is huge, well set up and well managed. If an occasional blip causes problems, who can really complain.

Anyone taking offense if the site should burp is the same kind of character that would complain about too many seeds in free watermelon.
