Default F150 bed installed onto F250..? Possible?

Hi so Im in need of a replacement bed for my 2005 F250 super duty due to rust issues... all the cross bars are rusted away. So I found an opportunity local to grab a bed off a 2003 F150. I know there's some differences but cant this be retrofitted onto my F250? It'll fit right? I mean maybe not like a globe and even if I have to redrill holes to bolt to frame it should still work right? Whats your thoughts and has anyone else done this?

Thanks in advance!

Depends on the wheelbases and configurations of the 2 trucks.

Configurations?? No offense or anything like that buut... who cares? Couldn't I still make it fit? What configurations would prohibit it from fitting? The wheelbase I somewhat get... but there again... couldn't it still be made to fit?

Thanks.

With different cabs, wheel base and/or bed length the wheel well openings will be in different places. This will make the wheels either be centered or not be centered.

But since you don't care, go for it.

You have a strange way of asking for help.

I don't know about your 11th gen but 10th gen had different hats. Since 150 hats aren't available anymore I took a shot at using 250, 350 and HD hats. Didn't work. It was easier and less expensive to fabricate new ones than alter the others.

A stripper friend once told me you can make anything fit if you try hard enough

No no... your taking it the wrong way. Sarcasm just doesn't come across. I was just trying to make the point of "why couldn't it still work" to perhaps provoke an opposite response that would maybe make me think differently about trying to use the f150 bed.... thats all. I type like I talk
