Default F150 2014 Recall

23K and my front brake rotors needed turned. Pads needed replaced. Brake dust I haven't seen since my 04 F150. Does this have anything to do with the Brake Booster safety reacall?? 23000 miles on a Ford F150 is crazy for brake problems and I'm easy on brakes. Brake dust on the front wheels has been crazy. Haven't seen it that bad since my 04 F150. Towing, I pulled a 4000lb boat to the Keys from NJ in Dec of 2014 and back...

Come on guys....I've been driving for 50yrs and never wore out brakes like this. Even from my days with a 69 428 Mach 1... Should have put that car in storage for my retirement...

It has nothing to do with the recall. I just had the recall done on my truck and my pads and rotors are fine @ 30k miles

^+1 2014 had my recall done and original brakes with just over 30k.

I do have a lot of brake dust on these chrome wheels though! But chrome is sure to show it the most and I do a lot of mountain driving.

23k for pads is not normal, but it is good practice to resurface the rotors with new pads every time.
