F-150 Tailgate Swap?

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can answer this question for me.

Will a 2017 F-150 tailgate fit on a 2009-2014 F-150 ?

I believe so yes. Hopefully someone that has done this can confirm

I do not believe so, the width on the beds are different.

No this will not work.

04-08 and 09-14 tailgates will interchange (they won’t look good) but 2015+ tailgates will not work on any of the previous generations.
