Default F-150 Crash

This is a local news story of a 4 vehicle car crash. One of the vehicles was an older model F-150. The crash happened in front of a lube shop and was captured by it's security camera. By the condition of the F-150 it is amazing no one was killed and no one was killed in the other vehicles.

"The driver of the pickup truck was not wearing a seatbelt and flew out of the vehicle."

I agree. Miraculous.

It was nice to see so many people there to help. Some video's in other places don't have the "help your fellow man" mentality. I wonder what the speed limit through there is?

The speed limit through that section of road is 60/kmh which translates to 40/mph.

In the link of the original post the story says one man has been charged for driving impaired but they have not said which vehicle he was driving yet.

UPDATE JAN 29/16- So the local news now says the driver of the F-150 was driving under the influence.

Looks like the F-150 side swiped the white van, bounced off him and did a head on with the on coming black car. F-150 was definitely going fast.

Plenty of folks died in that timeframe due to such stupidity (passengers riding in the bed of a truck). We just never heard of the deaths as much because TV news and the internet where not around or involved with these types of accidents.
If I ever see children riding in a pickup, I'd immediately call 911 and report the idiot driver of that truck.

WI law: May passengers ride in the back of a pickup truck if there's a topper on?
Yes, so long as the exhaust system extends beyond the body of the truck.
May you ride in the back of a pickup without a topper?
Yes, if you are over 16 years of age and seated in the box. It is illegal to sit on the sides. No child under the age of 16 may ride in the open cargo area of light trucks.

Most of the time they let farmers haul the kids in the back because it is considered a farm vehicle.
