Default Extang solid fold leak

I bought an extang solid fold bed cover for my 2011 screw 6.5' bed. The shop I bought it at gave me some foam to put in the gap between the bed rail and the bed liner. It leaks! I went back to the shop and they shoved some black putty sealant in there and it is still leaking. I'm going to go back but I'm just wondering if anyone else had problems with these covers leaking and how you resolved it. It looks like the water is coming in the corners up closest to the cab.

Ford's plastic bed rail caps create a height mis-match with the front of the bed. And Estang's seal doesn't handle the mismatch well. I got inside mine and could see plenty of daylight streaming in from up front and had to fix it too.

Cut Estang's seal vertically right at the inner edge of both bed rails. Installed weather seal along the top of the front of the bed to augment the Tonneau cover seal. And mine has stayed dry all winter.

Mine's the 5 1/2' bed and no liner.
