Default Exhaust Work

So while I was not home someone decided to steal the drivers side catalytic converter on my 2012 F150. But instead of taking a saw to it they unbolted it from the exhaust manifold and where it connects to the passenger side. I don't have the money to have it fixed at a shop or to buy one to put back on it, but it's so deafeningly loud and has a annoying sound almost like it's under water now. How can I run a pipe in its place to quiet it down for now until I can properly have it fixed? Any help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated thank you!
