Default Exhaust System?

Hello everyone, i am replacing the stock exhaust on my 1993 F-10. Its all stock with a 4.9l and a 8ft bed. What i want to do is remove the cats and run straight from the manifold back out through a new glass pack and what not. I want to use the existing "down tube" that comes from the manifold and goes in to the front of the first cat. But this tube splits before about halfway down before its bent to go back. I splits in to two what looks to be 1.25 inch pipes. So has anyone else done a costume exhaust on this style of truck before, and if so can you offer any advise on the best way. I am a bit lost on what exactly would be easiest, so inform me please!
