Default which exhaust?

I was just wondering what you guys think, exhaust tips straight out of the back or angled out of the side. Thanks in advance, pics would be greatly appreciated.

Personally I like the side exit look better. Seems like everyone is running them straight out the back. Side exit just looks more clean IMO.

If I had it to do over again I like the tips that come out and turn out at the corners of the rear bumper, I think that looks sharp!

do the stock look, exiting before the tire can cause major drone. out the back only looks good with duals. I'm actually thinking of modding the pipe to point straight back and down but not right after the muffler. If I do it i'll post pics but I think a chrome stock looking system looks sick

I could be mistaken, but I thought it was the muffler that caused drone... My dad replaced the muffler on his 99 Exploder, and now there is a lot of drone. The exhaust exits out the back exactly like the stock did.

placement has a lot to do with it but yes mufflers can and are a deciding factor as well
