2010 ford f150 what exhaust gives the change hp? Or is it all bull?

 

You don't get a whole lot of hp from exhaust. Less restriction can add a little, but not much. The big gain from exhaust is when you have engine mods and you change/enlarge the exhaust because it is needed due to pushing the extra hp's.

 

Cat back mods, really net nothing. The 09+ systems are straight through to begin with so there's little room for improvement. Long tube headers with proper tuning is the only real change that can net some decent gains on a stock n/a motor.

I'm assuming you have the 5.4L. Stainless works is about the only ones out with long tubes for the newer trucks and they're pricey, plus you need a custom tune for them to truly work well. I'd say look into programmers and do the Gotts mod first and see if you like the bump in power from that before dropping a lot on headers.
