Default Ethanol Fuel

Hey gang. How has everyone been? Me, Ok. I was just oh Yahoo news and this morning there was a study released from Washington stating that Ethanol may cause more smog deaths. Can you believe it????? The EPA is saying that it will cause a 1% increase in smog over unleaded. I found that to be interesting. I found the article under the science section of yahoo news.

in the small town that im originally from which only has like 2000 people in it. my dad was telling me that there is one station there that sells the ethanol fuel, and he has heard of 12 trucks in the town that it has ruined the engines because of running it. seems like that station has some fixing to do.

and ya all the trucks were setup for the flex fuel..

thats interesting about the motors failing..... someone did a "study" of gas vs. Ethanol on another forum and he decided that it didnt really matter which one you ran b.c the ethanol was cheaper but you got less mpg. He ran the ethanol for a year and i believe he had no problems what so ever while he was running it. so i find it hard to believe that its the Ethanol that is causing all those trucks to encounter motor problems.

Here its .40 cents a gallon cheaper. I run it in my wifes Ranger with no Problem. Since its 101 octane we were able to do ALOT with a tune on it.

I know that Fords website has a link to a web site for the national ethanol coalition. Or go to this site http://www.e85refueling.com/ and it will tell you the closest place to you.
