Driving my 2004 F150 Sunday. Stepped into throttle and the wrench light came on. Drove home two miles no issues. Checked codes and had 12 listed P0121-223, P2135, P2101,2106, ect. Codes related to ETB/TAC/TPS. Erased codes through scanner and restarted vehicle. Now I have no throttle control at pedal. Did some research found TSB 05/14/4 which requires new TPS sensor and reprogram to B37.5 PCM. On Monday called local mechanic in town, he said he sees these issues frequently. Suggests that I replace the ETB with Napa part and perform relearn overall cost $300.00. The Ford options require $150.00 tow, $100.00 diagnostic, $230.00 for the TSB work. Any thoughts or advice on this subject or how to re-establish throttle control?
