What is the going rate for a engine being shipped???
What is a good company???

Engine is going from 21801 MD to muskogee ok 74401.

I wondering if it would be cheaper for me to drive there and pick it up.

Call up Conway or some of the other LTL carriers and ask for a freight quote. If you are buying it from a business they usually get discounts through the carriers. Just have a weight and tell them roughly how big it is and they can get a quote for you. If you don't have a dock to unload at it will cost more though. Some places will hold onto your shipment at their local dock and you can pick it up.
