Hey. I'm having a problem with my 2005 f150 5.4 lariat. My engine is running really rough rough at times and has trouble starting sometimes. The check engine light blinks up to 49 times and my whole truck shakes and the exhaust is really white and smells like a snowmobile. I thought it might be a misfire but I had the plugs changed in the spring and brought it to a mechanic and he rotated the plugs and still got the same code that there was a missfire in cylinder 2. He thought it might be the cam phaser but I want to get a seccond opinion before I get him to take the engine apart. Should i bring it to a Ford dealer? And is it okay to run for a few more days before I get it looked at?
