Just to add a little in regards to oil pressure gauge, its not a gauge as such, its a switch. If oil pressure is greater than 5-7 psi switch closes and gauge reads slightly right of center just like your picture. If pressure is below 5-7 switch opens and gauge shows no pressure at all.

In regards to checking oil. Check often when new to the vehicle and you will soon get a feel for its normal consumption. If you see any leakage check more often. I had a slow leak in my 2007 F-150 that suddenly became a much larger leak and caught me off guard. It was leaking a quart every 300-500 miles before I fixed the oil filter housing to block gasket leak (not the oil filter gasket).

Looking at the engine oil pressure, does the reading look normal to you? This is my first F150 and just want to learn.
Found out after delivery this model (perhaps all of them?) doesn't have an alarm for low level of oil in the engine. Was told to check the oil level in the engine bay every 3k Kms or so. What do you guys think is a normal oil consumption for the 5.0?

Thanks in advance

I have a 2018 King Ranch F150 with 138,000 miles. I change the oil every 5000 miles or less. My gauge has always read the same as your picture above. I always have it changed at the Ford dealership.
