I have a 2006 F150 with the 5.4L
I constantly have the emergency brake light on but if I take a flat blade screwdriver and make the floater go down and let it come up a few times the light stays off for a few hours then come back on and I have no ideas where to start looking at I've searched and searched all over but can find any answers

 

Not sure but I believe that same light signals other system problems as well such as low fluid if not try adjusting E brake switch.

 

^^^ this^^^ it don’t say E=brake on the dash ... it says brake
