Default Electrical what is it?

2013 screw 4x4, 5.0. I was under the truck looking for a spot for a hideakey and found this plug between the spare and bumper on the passenger side.

It's been unplugged for a while because the terminals are green and it's full of crap. All lights work. It runs up into the bed. Whats it for?

The back up cam and sensors both work. The only thing I'm not sure about and not even sure if the truck is equipped is an electric locking tailgate. There is a loom coming out of the tailgate but it goes into the bed on the drivers side. It is a lariat.

Looks like the license plate light. Should be one on each side of the tag.

Aw shoot, had the wife checking the lights after I found it and didn't even think to ask her about the plate lights
