Sorry to hear about your problem.

Some pictures may get you some response on cost, but even then it would be hard to tell without investigating to see what was damaged and needs to be replaced.

A little more info on your truck would help also. If it is pretty old it may not pay to fix it. Also check with your insurance company and see if they will pay anything towards the repair.

Yes, if you have full coverage on your insurance, turn it in on that. Insurance should cover it depending on the market value for your truck.

I had a 2009 Silverado that had a fire. Almost burned my house down.

Shouldn't warranty cover it?

Body harness, ebrake pedal, ebrake cable, hood release cable, hood release lever, entire floor, skid plate, trim that covers wiring beside the ebrake pedal. Might be missing something.

3400$ in labour
2800$ in parts

No insurance, figured out that from heating the edge of my air fresheners with lighter after having a smoke, I must have started a cherry on one and when I opened the door it caught. The 12 caught on fire dropped off the ebrake pedal and burnt on the floor, thankfully it smothered itself as I had a full can of zippo fluid 3 inches from it in the door, and 500 rounds of ammo in the centre console :/ could been waaaayyyy worse
