I have a 2006 supercrew f-150 and recently put a flowmaster exhaust on it and dumped it. I also purchased a K&N cold air system and now have it installed as well. My last item I am looking at is a flashpaq made by superchips or the edge tuner that I have heard about on here. I have done some research and they both are interenet tunable and both have modifications within. But I want the best performance possible as we all do and do not want to damage my truck either. What do any of you think I should do or go with. If my searching is correct they aren't very different in price either, 350 to 400. My last question is no matter which one, if I put it on the performance mode do I need to go with the high octane gas as well or is regular ok? Thanks for your help.

and you will need higher octaine gas or you will get pinging.

 

i like superchips, but you need to run high octane on either one
