I was driving my 2010 5.4 with the Edge Evolution CTS yesterday. I have 93 octane gas and I'm running the extreme mode. I floored it from a low speed, mind you not just stomped it but steadily depressed the pedal. I then must have hit the 5700 RPM rev limiter because my truck shuddered like I hit the limiter. I then immediately let off the gas. I don't believe I was in sixth gear, so why didn't it shift?
