Has anyone installed a boost gauge in there ecoboost? If so... who makes the gauge and where did you get it from and how easy was it to hook up? Thanks for any info..

not yet, give it some more time it might be monitored for the PCM so there is a chance this feature could be added to a tuner. The Max boost by the way is 13 PSI.

To me a more important gauge then a boost gauge is a pyrometer to monitor the temperature of the turbo. One of the tricks for keeping a turbo charge happy is to spool, and cool them down after you have driven them for awhile. A turbo charger spins for a long time after you shut the engine down. modern turbo charged engines have a system that continues to supply oil the the bearings after shut down. Those of us who have driven large tractor trailer rigs learned to idle down our engines. With a pyrometer you can keep tab's on the turbo's temp' when idling down when it's temperature starts to drop you can shut them down safely. I am not sure how important it is to spool down turbo's these days but a pyrometer can save you thousands if you can spot an abnormally high temperature early on and have it looked at before you find yourself walking thanks to turbo failure.

when you decide on a guage, i have used auto meter guages all my life...they are cheap and work great, you will take the boost reference line and hook it up with a t-style connector to a intake manifold line.

Yep, I have to agree. I've installed several in various sports cars, a pic of the one in my RX7 is below. For the money, it is hard to beat AUTOMETER products, in my humble opinion.

Hoytshooter,
I was going to install a boost gauge until I found a droid app called torque and paired it with a bluetooth obd2 reader.
So much more than just a boost gauge. Search threads for obdII dongle. It's a hoot, plug and play and only about $25 complete.

I found the app. It looks really cool. Where do I get a bluetooth obd2 reader and how do I hook it up?

Some guys got bum readers.
I got mine from amishop (spelling??) on ebay and would recommend.
P.s. I think ecoboost lets over boost up to about 16 psi if you accelerate from stop full throttle. You will like torque.....
