In the late 90's I had a guy who would not sell me 16" tires for my 1997 super-cab f150 because "all f150's come with 15 inch wheels".

i was thinking.. wonder what her boyfriend drives. probably one of those oversized in-between a semi and truck. i know a jackass that drives one of those oversized trucks that's painted neon green. maybe compensating for something....maybe not. but still overkill. he's the type that lowers trucks anyway - another dumb move ruining a useful truck is lowering it.

Default 5.0 Ecoboost

A 5.0 EB that would be a helluva motor with twin turbos. But there is no such motor

Once at a dealer looking to buy my first truck. I asked the salesman what size rear end was in the truck the salesman proceeded to turn around and say I believe it's a 6.5

I never knew Harley Davidson made trucks!

Why did you but a Harley Davidson Edition if you don't own a Harley Davidson? Same reason your from New York City and you Drive a Lariat. A lot of opportunities to Rope and Ride in Downtown New York? By the way doesn't your Brother own a King Ranch? Shut up man its just the package that came with the Truck??? Oh never mind!

You bought a new Truck, those are so expensive, what were you thinking, thats just Stupid. I'd never pay that much for a Truck!!! Can I barrow your truck to move somethings to storage.

When I bought my 95 Explorer 4x4 XLT in 1997 after a little Mud trip really covered in Mud on my way home stopped to get gas. Had older woman tell me I was ruining my Truck.

I reminded her that it was a 4x4, she told me the 4x4 is ONLY a safety feature and I was ruining the truck.
I paused for a bit, said I appreciate the concern but your mistaken this is MY truck, not my Dads I'm the one who makes the payments. And as such I'm ensuring that the 4x4 is still operational. "its ONLY a safety feature to be used in emergencies" I reminded her that her $3000+ safety feature will not work when she wants it to if she doesn't test it on occasions then told her how to test and engage it.

"It's a half-ton truck. That means it can only tow 1000 pounds."

I didn't even know how to respond. I figured trying to explain the actual specs to them wouldn't do any good anyway. So I just said "Thanks for your concern."

I've towed over 7500 lbs with my 2005 F150 Super Crew without breaking a sweat, and I had hauled over 8500 with my old 1985 F150. And that's just the weight of the trailer - I had more stuff in the back of the truck as well.

Well I am trading my Crew Cab diesel 4x4 dually on a F-150. I'm hoping I do not regret it. Have not owned any truck less than a 1 ton since 92. At one time my wife and I both had 1 ton crew cab duallys....

At any rate, got rid of the RV when our youngest moved out and we moved to the lake. No real need for a 1 ton. I think the F-150 will do just fine with a 5600 pound boat and trailer.

Family member of mine just purchased a 16 XLT Screw. We asked him what engine he had. His response, it has an Ecoboost 5.0L. He originally thought he had the 6.2L.
