Default The Dumb Trade

Here are some pics of the Mustang I traded for. I am coming back to Dallas, so if anyone wants it let me know. We are looking at trading it for like a Explorer or Escape. I have already replaced the Right front hub, and replaced one new tire.

Looks like it's been hit. That trunk lid and taillight don't quite fit right.

I agree. The back end looks all jacked up. NTM: What happened to the rear spoiler? I still see the holes for it and the dirt from under the gaskets but no spoiler present??

6 G's isn't a lot at all. That's about average if you ask me.

No way man... I would pay 6k for it if it had less than 50k on the clock. Looking at the pics: it has been hit, needs a paint job (roof) and there has possibly been other work to the car since the right front window scraper moulding is missing. The car is a '99 (just by the look of the hood scoop) and I can almost bet money that it has almost 100k on it just judging solely on the look of the outside of the car. The lack of interior pics also makes me skeptical.

I would offer $4500.

BTW: Texasedition: I am sorry if I am sounding crude. I am not trying to tear your car apart but I have auto A.D.D. and I have purchased alot of cars over my time. I have also learned to pick them apart from working at dealerships. Nothing against you personally but I'm just noticing things.

Car down here must be more expensive than Texas. I think it's pretty clean. The trunk is slightly defected but it's no big deal.

I was just joking about actually purchasing because 6 Gs is the insurance Geico would charge me every year and that's too much. lol

It needs a little TLC. I know that. I am a Mustang freak! I think this will be Mustang 15 for me. All the problems it has are minor. I am replacing the whole door, Drivers side seat cover, and rear bumper cover. That is all it really needs to have a straight body. Well, and the headlights kill me, so I will replace those too.

So is this your car now or are you looking to trade it for an Escape or Explorer? Your original post sounds like you are looking to trade it off.
