Question Dual Flowmasters anyone??

Ok this may be a ridiculous question but hear me out....

I have a dual exhaust on my truck right now, have a flowmaster 40 series with a one in two out dual exhaust. I love the sound I get from it but I want a little more bite to it, so I was wondering what people thought about putting another flowmaster in addition to the one I currently have and have two one in one out flows with my new dual exhaust.....

That is what I did. I used to run the 40 all the way to the rear. I put true duals on it and used 2- single in and out then dumped them behind passenger door. That definitely turned up the volume a bit.

I hear ya there but at the same time I don't mind it being real loud, how hard or easy was it to fit two 40 series down there and do you have any pics of your set up that I could look at??

Aww...my apologies..didn't mean to make that 40's plural....just the Super 40 single muffler.

It is possible to put two mufflers down there as I know several guys with true dual straight back....if you want real loud see if the dimewnsions of the suer 44's are workable for the room down there and u will be loud man...

Super 44's

Cannot find the Super 40 that I used on mine but I do believe the 44's are actually smaller.

So I've been told that if you have true duals you need to have either an X joint before your two mufflers or an H joint, this would be to help balance out the back pressure I believe?? I'm not sure so Im wonder what anyone that has had two mufflers installed has done with that issue or if its even an issue at all???
