Default Dual exhaust problem

Just recently purchased a 06 f150 lifted with dual exhaust. I've had a few issues with it that can't seem to figure out. It was in a 4 wheel drive shop for two days getting the lift checked out because when it turn or hit a bump there be a cracking noise from the passenger side. The people said it wasn't the lift but could be the exhaust and how it was set up. Could this be the issue. They think it is because the exhaust tips are welded to the trailer hitch. Should the tips be welded to the hitch of not what can I do to fix it.

The exhaust shouldn't be welded to the hitch. When you hit a bump,it's probably moving the exhaust and banging it off of something.

Take it to an exhaust shop, and have them hang it correctly.

So after looking a little closer at the exhaust tips there not welded to the trailer hitch there actually welded to a bar that goes right to left the width of the truck where the back end of the leaf springs are at its like the leaf spring assembally but its like part of the frame if that makes sense. I was wondering if i can just cut the welds off or would the strength of the exhaust tips be in jepoardy of braking off.

Cut them, and then get new exhaust hangers from an auto parts store. Better yet, just take it to a muffler shop, they should only charge like $30 to fix it right. Anything dealing with the exhaust should be hung from rubber hangers (usually) to isolate vibrations that they may encounter.
