I have a new to me 2010 f150 5.4l crew cab. I bought it a couple months ago. Everything worked when I took it home but about a month ago I started having troubles with the driver door. The switch on the door will not lock or unlock anything. The passenger side lock switch will lock and unlock all doors including the drivers. The key fob will not lock or unlock anything... however, when I push either the lock or unlock it will flash the lights but nothing with the locks.. it will start the the engine with the remote starter.
I have replaced the switches in the drivers door, the battery in the fob and was going to do the actuator but decided that cant be the problem because the passenger switch works for the drivers locks...
I'm truly stumped. I feel like I must be something with the remote starter, but what do i know?
I do not know when or by who it was installed . I also do not have the manual for the vehicle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I’m more familiar with 04-08, but assume there are similarities.

try pulling rubber boot back and inspecting the wires running from can you door. If you need to you can look up color for wires to determine lock wire, but just start by looking for breakage.
