Hi! I have a 2016 F150 lariat that I had to recently replace the driver door lock actuator since the device stopped working. After replacing, the lock works but now have a new issue. The lock automatically “relocks” as soon as you touch the handle to open the door. You have to hit the unlock button on the fob multiple times before it actually opens. Has anyone ever experienced this and what is the fix? Thank you!

 

On a a different note, I have probably owned 20 vehciles with power door locks.........a few even converted with acutators out of the junk yard. I HAVE NEVER HAD ONE FAIL UNTIL I GOT MY F150 and have had to replace both of them...........redioulsy.
yours sounds like something to do with that pos keyless start bs............
