Default Door check

Tried the search but found nothing.

We just bought a 2013 F150 XLT SCAB. All four doors do not stay open. They all have a loose rubber grommet on each or the door check arms. Is it common for these to fail by now? What is a good source for reasonably priced replacement?

Thanks

are you talking about the black plastic door detent arm? there's an aftermarket option that is better than stock, it gives you 3 positions rather than just the factory 2.. the 3rd position is a sweet spot that should've been there from the factory. your doors should stay open when they fall into one of the detents.

Thanks. Did not know they were referred to as door dentents. I always called them door check assemblies. Probably why my search didn't work. LOL.

i will try the door detent 3.0. Too bad they don't make them for the rear Scab doors.

Yeah, I also have a scab and would like them for the rear doors but I'll take what I can get. Oh and they are pretty easy to install as well. Took me about 20 mins to do both front doors.
