Do we have any idea when it’ll be a good time to buy?

I went to retrieve my crystal ball but on the way back to my compute I tripped and the crystal ball broke.
Sorry, if not for the unfortunate accident I'd be able to tell you when you should go purchase!
If only somebody could tell me when a box of cereal or a chicken breast will come down in price, that would be fantastic.

Are you always so helpful? Why bother replying at all?
I take it with 6000+ posts since Jan 2020, you’re only trying to up your post count and have nothing better to do.

To everyone else who replied, thanks, I appreciate it. I haven’t been following the market enough and was hoping for some insight from those who may have some.

I'd imagine it gonna be 2-3 years to "normal". Chip shortage, made up supply chain issues will last more than a year. Then dealers will still be trying to sell at or above retail until people quit buying them.
All bets are off if we can get the economy to go down the tubes. That will miraculously fix the supply chain nonsense.
