Default do tinted windows help nav screen glare?

I just put a Kenwood Apple Carplay unit in my SCREW and the sun washes it out pretty bad. This is a pretty well known issue, but I can't confirm through my searching online if tinting the windows will help. Has anybody had success with that or any other method for reducing the glare?

TIA!

You can get a clear screen cover what reflects the glare and eliminates finger prints. I put one on mine and it was the best thing I've ever done. It looks a glass screen now.

You did it to an aftermarket screen like Kenwood or to the factory screen which is what that link is for?
