Do I need a custom tune?
Hi Guys,
I have a 2006 F150 super crew XLT I bought new in 2005. It has the 5.4L 24V engine. I have since installed shorty headers, cold air intake, cat back exhaust, and a throttle body spacer. I have a Superchips 1815 Flashpaq for it. I read this morning that the programmer is intended for stock vehicles and may not work properly with my mods. It does make a difference from stock to performance tune but I wonder if a custom tune would improve my performance even more.

Probably on the tuner. Maybe you can trade the TBS for a tuner...
